La Veranda

Welcome to La Veranda…..step into this wooden-framed house from the XIX century, one of the few English Caribbean Style buildings left in Cozumel from this era. With a beautiful garden, surrounding a gazebo and a colonial
fountain. This home was remodeled to function as a restaurant and bar and serve you in the indoor and outdoor dining area which are airy and quite pleasant. You can hear soft jazz and the whirring of ceiling fans in the background. The
tables are well separeted and attractively set. Any table on the patio or la veranda overlooks the beautiful gardens and offers a relaxed, old-world setting.

This is the perfect place to go if you want something different. The inventive menu emphazises tropical ingredients, such as, mango, tamarind, coconut, poblano, serrano, chipotle chilis and fuses West Indian with European
cooking and also regional. Mixing with fish, lobster, seafood, chicken, beef and pasta. The most entertaining specialties are the table side dishes such as cesar salad, shrimp, lobster and the delicious flaming coffees and desserts.. crepes suzette, banana flambe, black cherry jubilee. The service is attentive
and friendly. La Veranda, a unique experience you cannot miss while you are in Cozumel.

La Cocay

La Cocay was inaugurated in 1995 in Plaza Jade near Corpus Cristi Church. After eight successful years, we moved to our own building downtown in Cozumel’s Historic District .Our old wood building maintains some of the historical and culturally Caribbean characteristics of old Cozumel. The seating area includes an air- conditioned main dining room and bar, a covered terrace and lush tropical garden.

With attentive service, and delicious food, La Cocay has become a popular or even obligatory place for both tourists and local residents to celebrate special occasions or to just celebrate life. Additionally, La Cocay has also
served as a private destination for many events such as weddings, quinceanos, corporate lunches, posadas and benefits.

Our tapas, duck firecrackers and napa salad are a few of our distinctive dishes. The filet mignon with red wine demi-glace and roasted garlic mashed potatoes , sesame peppered tuna and fresh red snapper are popular choices for
our steady customers. When ordering though, it is important to leave some room to try one of our exquisite desserts. A visit to La Cocay would not be complete without trying our decadent chocolate torte.

As a supplement to our classic dishes, we change the menu frequently and have daily specials to take advantage of the seasonal availability of some ingredients. On your next visit, you may find a tasty new surprise!

Hard Rock Cafe

Once a major Mayan center, the name “Cozumel” derives from the Mayan word “Ah-Cuzamil-Peten,” meaning simply, “land of the swallows.” So once you get some of our fine food and drinks in your gullet, you’ll be in excellent keeping
with ancient Mayan tradition! Located just off the Yucatan coast on Mexico’s largest island, Cozumel offers Mexico’s best diving, beautiful coral gardens, and some remote reefs where you can spot dolphins hard at play. The island is
also good for bird watching (just don’t look up!), but we recommend you check out the wildlife inside Hard Rock instead, where for years we’ve been cataloging and preserving rare rock ‘n’ roll artifacts, keeping them as primed
as possible in their natural state. The unique Mayan architectural style makes this one of the most beautiful Hard Rock Cafes in the world, and complementing our numerous rock objects is a superb ceiling mural depicting a vast underwater
setting. In fact, this mural is so realistic you may never need the actual beach, but we understand if you do venture out, just so you can say you did. All beachin’ aside though, the choice for Mayan culture in the new millennium
is the Hard Rock Cafe Cozumel!
